Both Botox and Xeomin can prevent new wrinkles from forming, as well. They do this by weakening the muscles near the injection site. This stops them from moving and creating new lines and creases.

Xeomin vs. Botox
A key difference between Xeomin and Botox is the presence of what are called accessory proteins.

Xeomin doesn’t have this issue. It contains only the active ingredient botulinum toxin type A, not Botox’s associated accessory proteins. This makes it less likely to cause an immune response.
